Grasping the Opportunity of Foreign Trade and Expanding In-Depth Cooperation

 

In early December 2022, Faye Fang, the deputy director of Union Source, and the other team member, started a seven-day trip to Indonesia. During the trip, they visited some new and old Indonesian customers, enhanced the stickiness of cooperation with them, and re-planned the market development plan of Indonesia in 2023 according to the conditions of customers and the market.

 

Before the trip, Faye had done a lot of preparation in sample selection, customer research and cultural customs, so she finally won the trust of customers. A new customer temporarily showed Faye their detailed product plan and important product categories of 2023 during the visit, expressing the intention of in-depth cooperation. In addition, Faye has also keenly noticed the huge development potential of Indonesian customers. An old customer which just closed a large order last year belongs to a large local group, and its volume and product categories far exceeded Faye's expectations. Hence, it has demonstrated more possibility in expanding in-depth cooperation. 

 

 

Faye expressed that the huge tariff on products exported to Indonesia and high market price had previously led to the difficulty in selling products. After the implementation of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), Indonesia has implemented zero-tariff on some Chinese products, and the market competitiveness of domestic products are estimated to be greatly enhanced. The Indonesian market is supposed to become a new opportunity of foreign trade, which will bring a lot of business increments to the company.

 

In the new year, the Group will continuously provide customers with the ultimate service, and strive to achieve the value beyond customer expectations.
